The Waffle Foam Bee was originally designed by Niklas Dahlin after a request for a large, buoyant bee pattern to target salmon in Northern Norway. After success with the big version, smaller sizes were added for deadly late-season trout, char and grayling fishing. It has a waffled foam rear body, giving a realistic segmented bee profile, raffia wings, a thorax of Whiting dry fly hackle, and a black foam back for extra visibility. A set of silicone legs adds movement and life to the pattern. This is a versatile bee imitation for both rivers and stillwaters.
